Grand.

This is really deep, and a brilliant addition to an extremely rich gallery.

beautiful, but one thing... the hand seems out of place. maybe if it were tinted more the colour of the face and enlarged a bit...
OK, i went back and read the comments and see someone's already adressed that. but i have to second the opinion. your intentions don't matter much if the viewer doesn't "get it".

Aww. Good thing he was nearby. Closest thing like I can recall from my childhood to that would be my dad saving me from shaving when I was 3 years old...and I'm a girl....long time ago.

Then again, we were all stupid when we were young.

Lol, shaving? xD Sounds like something I'd've done... I remember when I read Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, I was like mebbe I should put my gum behind my ear too. One of the stupidest things I've done. xD

LOL. :D It's really funny, once I look back on it. xD Back then, especially when I was trying to pull it out of my hair, it definately wasn't funny. xD

I love the top half! I think the hand at the bottom is too brightly lit to fit with the image, I really like the idea of it though, lovely colours! Great work :)

Thanks. The reason they differ so much is because the top half is what's going on with the subject in her brain, fear of death and rotting. The bottom half is more of a dream, a bit more surreal and I kind of wanted it to stand out a little more.

But I do respect and appreciate your feedback. It's something I'll keep in mind. :)

This is the first time I've used their textures. Funny thing is, this was the only texture on my hard drive; I got all high and mighty and got rid of my old ones.

I'm now scrambling for textures. :lmao:

Thanks for your comment. :)

Thats pretty good for a first time :wow:
Here is the interview I did with the best texturers on dA [link]
They recommend which textures to get and I have put links to great texture resources (on dA and off it)

Oooh. I'm not worried about water unless there's a possibility of a shark attack. Nothing says fear like being mauled by fish. :D
